A probe (in white on the drawing) is introduced into the uterus to take a fragment of the ovarian cortex. This fragment of the ovarian cortex was then cut to stimulate the dormant follicles. These stimulated follicles are reimplanted in the patient´s ovaries. The second method concerns older women whose ovarian follicular capital does not allow them to obtain oocytes. To avoid recourse to egg donation, a bone marrow stem cell transplant is performed by injection to compensate for ovarian aging. The injection is carried out using a catheter (shown in black in this drawing) introduced to the ovarian artery. This catheter is introduced through the femur until the junction between the external and internal iliac artery. There it takes the path of the uterine artery to reach the internal ovarian branch which anastomoses with the ovarian artery.
